New Barrels

Manufactured in Japan. Its inner surface is processed with charring or toasting to give it maturing, color, and flavor function. Thicker stave compared to other companies' products, enables it to be reprocessed twice. This makes it possible to be used for a longer time and realize cost benefits. We have a lineup of materials with different flavors such as Japanese oak Mizunara.

Used shochu barrels
Shochu is a traditional Japanese spirit. Shochu has the same long history as seishu, and you can associate it with the spirits of seishu. However, unlike seishu, shochu uses various ingredients like barley and brown sugar in addition to rice. The used shochu barrel of Ariake Sangyo is charred once again to make the barrel alive again also retain the special taste of shochu. The material used for the barrel is American white oak.
